A 21 de abril realiza-se a 11.ª edição do Record Store Day, dia que se assinala a nível mundial para celebrar as lojas de discos independentes e a cultura do vinil. A Universal Music Portugal tem em vista o lançamento de vários discos de alguns dos nomes mais populares da música nacional, que estarão disponíveis especialmente a pensar neste dia.
Entre os discos portugueses que integrarão o Record Store Day deste ano estão:
No ano em que se comemora o 25.º aniversário do início da carreira a solo de Rodrigo Leão, três dos seus mais recentes álbuns são editados pela primeira vez em vinil, dois deles em edição de duplo vinil. Neste trio de lançamentos podemos encontrar temas emblemáticos como “Vida Tão Estranha” (em “A Mãe”) e a primeira versão de “Terrible Dawn” com Scott Matthew (em “A Vida Secreta Das Máquinas”).
Reedição em vinil do disco que reúne as 8 canções cantadas por Carlos Do Carmo no Festival RTP da Canção de 1976, em que o fadista foi o único intérprete. Este relançamento contém também duas versões de temas clássicos do artista (como “Lisboa, Menina e Moça”), reproduzindo na íntegra o alinhamento da edição original.
No ano em que Portugal recebe, pela primeira vez, o Festival Eurovisão, são reeditados três singles com temas emblemáticos da História do Festival RTP da Canção, e lançados dois títulos com grafismo inédito, no total de cinco discos de sete polegadas com cinco dos intérpretes mais icónicos do Festival da Canção.
Reedição em vinil do segundo álbum dos Heróis do Mar, 35 anos depois do seu lançamento original. Este disco, cuja capa tem a fotografia icónica de Eduardo Gageiro, contém oito temas, onde se encontram “Cachopa” e “Se Fores Ao Norte”, bem como o single “Paixão”, faixa-extra
Reedição em vinil do primeiro álbum dos Gemini, 40 anos depois do seu lançamento original. Este disco reproduz o alinhamento da edição original, e inclui 11 temas, todos remasterizados a partir das fitas originais, onde podemos encontrar o single “Pensando Em Ti” e “Portugal No Coração”, canção que, na versão feita pelo grupo Os Amigos, venceu o Festival RTP da Canção em 1977.
