 - Tomás, antes de mais, fala-nos um pouco de ti... em algumas palavras como te descreves?

Sou apenas um rapaz que quer contar histórias ao som da música que tanto quero fazer.

 - Como surgiu a tua paixão pela música?

A minha paixão pela música nasceu a partir do momento em que tive o primeiro contacto com instrumentos musicais, e mais especificamente com uma guitarra oferecida quando fiz os meus sete anos. Mais tarde, quando comecei a estudar música e a ter os meus primeiros projetos, esta paixão cresceu ainda mais.

 - Aos 14 anos tiveste uma banda de versões. Como se chamava a banda e o que fazias lá?

Ao formar a minha primeira banda, a qual que nunca ficou com um nome definido. Comecei a ter os meus primeiros concertos e a perceber cada vez mais que era aquilo que queria fazer como profissão. Nesta banda cantava e também tocava guitarra.

 - Depois lançaste um novo grupo. Fala-nos também disso.

Mais tarde, formei um outro grupo em que o objetivo já não era fazer versões de outras músicas, mas começar a fazer a minhas primeiras músicas originais. Foi a partir desse momento que nasceu o gosto de querer fazer músicas originais e a usar todas as minhas energias ao tentar fazê-lo.

- Quem são as tuas influências a nível musical? E porquê?

As minhas influências musicais são bandas como os Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Smiths,... e também artistas como Bob Dylan, James Bay, John Mayer, David Bowie, Mac DeMarco, etc. Estas são as minhas principais influências, porque para além de me identificar com o som deles, também me ensinam que música não pode ser plastificada, mas sentida e sincera, é dessa forma que quero fazer sempre a minha música.

 - Tens alguma música a que possas chamar de "a música da tua vida"?

Penso que não tenho nenhuma música que possa chamar “música da minha vida”, acho que todas as músicas que me ensinam algo, fazem parte da minha vida.

 - Porque é que decidiste participar no The Voice Portugal? Quem é que te apoiou muito nessa fase?

Decidi, na altura, participar no The Voice para agarrar uma oportunidade. Nunca esteve nos meus planos ganhar o programa, claro que fiquei muito grato pela vitória, porque deu me muito mais do que eu pedia. Hoje agarro essa oportunidade com todas as minha forças para conseguir fazer aquilo que mais gosto. Se não fosse essa vitória, provavelmente nunca iria conseguir fazer o que faço hoje.

 - Marisa Liz, como tua mentora no programa da RTP, o que é que te ensinou?

Além de me dar excelentes conselhos ao longo do programa e me ensinar um pouco mais deste mundo tão novo para mim, manteve- se ao meu lado após programa e continuou ao meu lado a ensinar-me sempre um pouco mais todos os dias.

 - Esperavas vencer um dos maiores programas de música em Portugal? Como te sentiste após a vitória?

Nunca pensei ganhar o programa. Mas claro que me senti muito grato por ter ganho, senti-me muito feliz. Guardo essa experiência para sempre.

 - Lançaste há muito pouco tempo o teu single de estreia. Chama-se "A Vontade". Fala-nos deste single.

Em “A Vontade”, conto uma história de amor, sobre alguém que se cansou de lutar, que já não acredita na relação que tem com a outra pessoa. Alguém que sabe que o amor é uma corrida, que já não se consegue ganhar, mas que ao mesmo tempo corre para algo novo, libertando toda a tristeza que guardou. Para além desta história de amor infeliz a música tem extensão suficiente para ser interpretada de maneiras diversas. Nesta vida temos sempre corridas em que não conseguimos ganhar e a música transmite essa mensagem.

 - O que podemos esperar de ti em 2019?

Novos singles ou até mesmo novo álbum? Neste ano espero conseguir lançar mais um single e um álbum. Tudo aponta para que se realizem estes objetivos.

 - Aproveita agora o teu tempo de antena e deixa uma mensagem a todos os teus fãs que vão poder ler esta entrevista na MUSICPORTUGAL.

"Touch My Body" é o primeiro single do novo projecto de música pop portuguesa entitulado PROJE X.

Esta primeira música estará também presente no primeiro EP da banda, com titulo já definido "Are you ready for this?" a ser lançado durante este ano. As músicas deste primeiro EP viajam por entre um pop moderno e vanguardista, assim como será cantado em português e Inglês.

Este primeiro single, conta com a voz da cantore MAY. A produção e mixagem ficou a cargo de Marcos César e a edição digital será feita através da MR Diffusion.

"Liga-Desliga" é o primeiro single que Isaura edita em português e o primeiro depois do lançamento de "Human", o ansiado álbum de estreia, editado em junho do ano passado. "O Jardim", canção vencedora da passada edição do Festival da Canção, foi o primeiro passo para a edição de canções em português: "Ver a facilidade com que as pessoas se relacionaram com a letra d'O Jardim foi sem dúvida uma motivação para tentar encontrar mais da minha sonoridade no português".

“Liga-Desliga” pode ser encontrada nas plataformas digitais - ilustrada com uma obra do conceituado artista urbano Bráulio Amado - e é o primeiro dos temas que integrarão um EP que será editado ainda em 2019.

"Eu sou uma das pessoas que mais adora tecnologia num raio de 300km (onde quer que estejas ao ler isto): gosto das facilidades, das possibilidades e da ideia de que o mundo me cabe na palma da mão", começa por explicar Isaura sobre "Liga-Desliga". Mas ultimamente tenho dado por mim a pensar sobre esta coisa de estar sempre online e de que forma isso me permite participar na vida das pessoas de quem gosto. Tenho sentido que esta falsa sensação de estarmos todos ligados é um vício que nos torna arrogantes e que nos empurra para uma representação daquilo que são as nossas vidas, em vez de nos empurrar uns para os outros, para vivermos aquelas que são, efetivamente, as nossas vidas. Tenho sentido que, sermos uma comunidade global, nos desconcentra: estamos à mesa com aqueles que nos viram crescer, mas estamos preocupados com as notificações de pessoas que nem sabem a nossa idade verdadeira; estamos no café com o nosso melhor amigo que não vemos há semanas, mas estamos distraídos com os likes de alguém que nem é nosso amigo mas tem imensos seguidores. E em plataformas que falam tão alto, ouvimos tão pouco!; temos de ter opiniões sobre tudo e ser radicais em tudo o que dizemos, mesmo que, no dia-a-dia, cara-a-cara, sejamos tão ponderados. Porquê? Fiz esta canção para me lembrar de que o mundo visto pelos meus olhos é tão mais bonito. Mal posso esperar para que a oiçam e me contem como é o mundo visto pelos vossos olhos, na vida real."
