A edição de 2017 dos Billboard Music Awards decorreu este domingo, dia 21 de maio em Las Vegas. A cerimónia, mais conhecida pelas atuações do que propriamente pelos prémios, teve como destaque Drake, que foi o grande vencedor da edição de 2017 ao levar para casa 13 prémios da Billboard (batendo o recorde de Adele para mais prémios ganhos numa noite: 12). A noite teve apresentações de Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, entre outros. A cantora Cher ganhou uma homenagem na noite e Nick Minaj abriu a cerimónia com David Guetta e Lil Wayne cantando a música “Light My Body Up”.
